The power equipment of Hydraulic upsetter press is driven by hydraulic pressure. Hydraulic upsetting machine has three hydrocylinders with different function.

First, upsetting hydrocylinder is behind the hydraulic pipe upsetting machine. The upset-extruding hydrocylinder of hydraulic upsetter press and the frame of hydraulic upsetting machine are connected by four guide columns. Upset-extruding hydrocylinder is extruding d by formed punch the heated blank of workpiece to forming the workpiece.

Second, clamping hydrocylinder is on the left side of the frame of hydraulic tubular upsetting machine. The clamping hyrocylinder of upsetter press are also connected by four guide columns. The clamping hydroclinder of upsetting machine pushes the valve block above the inclined block of hydraulic pipe upsetting machine. The main function of clamping hydrocylinder of upsetter press is closing the mould of upsetting machine.

Third, auxiliary hydrocylinder of hydraulic upsetting machine locate at the top of the frame of upsetting pipe machine. The function of auxiliary hydrocylinder is controlling the opening and closing of the mould of hydraulic pipe upsetting machine.

Last, the hydrocylider of hydraulic tubular upsetter press has matching cooling tower to control the temperature of the hydraulic fluid. The high temperature will dilute the density of hydraulic fluid. Hydraulic fluid thinning will lead to the leak tightness of hydrocylinder not fit to work. The high temperature also hurt lock ring. If the lock ring is damaged then hyrocylider of upsetter press will leaking. The optimum temperature for hydraulic fluid is between 20 degree centigrade and 50 degree Celsius.
