Hydraulic upsetter is special designed for drill pipe and other similar OCTG workpiece. The products processed by the hydraulic pipe upsetter are mainly used for oil industrial, rock drilling, and so on.

The inductor of the hydraulic upsetting machine heats the end of pipe. This heating time is usually 35 second to 40 second. The workpiece is slowly rotated by the auxiliary equipment of the hydraulic pipe upsetting machine during heating process to ensure that the end of pipe heated uniform.

The pipe is driven by the automatic auxiliary equipment of the pipe upsetting machine to send the end of heated pipe into the mould of hydraulic tubular upsetter. The transform time needs 2 second to 3 second.

The auxiliary hydraulic cylinder of hydraulic upsetting machine controls the mould of upsetter press opening to allow the end of heated pipe enter the mold of upsetting machine.

The clamping hydraulic cylinder of hydraulic upsetter press pushes the wedge block to lock the mould of hydraulic upsetting machine when the workpiece enters the mold of upsetting machine and the mould of upsetting machine is closed.
